Project: Nannup Flood Barrage
Client: Shire of Nannup
BG&E undertook a feasibility study associated with the design and placement of a barrage structure across the Blackwood River in Western Australia to increase the minimum summer water level by approximately 1m.
The study included:
- Compliance and regulatory advice.
- Conceptual design of four types of barrage structure – hydraulic and structural design concepts.
- Environmental impact assessment.
- Upfront capital and maintenance cost programming.
- Retrofit design option of existing timber bridge.
